July 2014 Market News
The Arrowtown Market Review
Traditionally a quieter time of year for sales, however May and June proved otherwise with good sales activity. 14 sales were recorded for the two months. This is double the number of sales from the corresponding time last year, where seven sales were recorded.
However year to date ending 30th June, total sales are only one above last year at 40.
There continues to be a shortage of homes for sale in the lower and middle end of the market, with buyer demand remaining high. However sales over $1 million are slow and houses in this price bracket are proving difficult to move.
Because of a big shortage of land we are now loosing sales to other Suburbs like Lake Hayes Estate, Shotover Country and Jacks Point where section and house prices are significantly lower and excellent value for your money.
If you are thinking of selling now is a great time, the team at Ray White Arrowtown offer you a full Real Estate service with no hidden costs. Contact us today for a free market appraisal of your home you may be pleasantly surprised on what your home is now worth in the current market. We have buyers waiting.

How often do you hear the following when purchasing an Arrowtown property? Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate living areas, double garage, solid brick cladding, insulated and North facing onto a reserve… Not often!
This is all complimented by fresh decor, a sharp kitchen, new heat pump, wood burner, heat transfer system and nightstore heater. Situated in a very popular & quiet cul de sac, this home is close to Arrowtown Primary School, walking and cycling tracks and has very enviable sunshine hours all year round. I suggest you give me a call to view or visit me at the open homes on Saturdays at noon.

Your Lifestyle Farm and Home
This 46 ha rural block offers sufficient land for worthwhile farming and yet not that large as to intrude into the many other activities that this wonderful area provides. The hobby farmer too, can enjoy small scale farming without the capital outlay that would be required for a larger enterprise. The comfortable home enjoys spectacular views over the river basin below with towering mountain peaks in the background. For farming activities, there are four large fenced paddocks for grass and lucerne, two large hay or implement sheds and excellent irrigation to assist grass growth and boost production.
